“The John L. Scott Foundation has been instrumental in support for several Children’s Hospital fundraising events. Their efforts help Children’s continue our mission of caring for all Pacific Northwest children regardless of their ability to pay. Thanks to their help, we can provide the best medical care possible to those who need it.”

"The John L. Scott Foundation has been a wonderful supporter of our Christmas Forest event, which provides resources that improve the health and well being of those less fortunate in our greater Olympia community. We greatly appreciate their commitment and gifts to Providence St. Peter Hospital, and we are grateful for their concern and compassion to help find solutions for the growing number of people needing assistance."
Nancy J. Riordan, Executive Director, Providence St. Peter Foundation
"The John L. Scott Real Estate Foundation has played an integral role in the success of the Mary Bridge Festival of Trees. Through Festival, the JLS Foundation has been a leader in providing state-of-the-art equipment for the children served by Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. In addition to the best in medical equipment, the Foundation has helped make Parent Apartments available, free of charge, to the families of patients at Mary Bridge. John L. Scott Real Estate actively supports the communities it represents. For that, we are very thankful."

"Support from the John L. Scott Foundation helped net over $135,000 at the First Annual Pumpkin Ball held on October 23rd in Spokane, Washington. It was co-sponsored by Sacred Heart Children's Hospital and Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. The dollars raised are making a reality the first phase of a new pediatric-focused emergency and trauma center at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital devoted to the special needs of acutely ill and injured children. This initiative has brought to Spokane, for the first time, a Board certified pediatric emergency physician. The first 6 bed phase called the "peds zone" is nearly complete and will open in late January. The support of the John L. Scott Foundation means a new level of pediatric emergency care for the 400,000 children in our service region.
Proceeds will also help the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery expand the number of children they can sere. The Crisis Nursery is safe place parents can seek emergency care for up to 72 hours refuge when there is a possibility their children may be injured or neglected due to family crisis situations like homelessness, poverty, substance abuse and domestic violence."

"We had a blast. We might not be the neatest cooks but we sure had the most fun! It was truly a joy to bring some respite to these deserving families. Everyone was so appreciative of our efforts. They all mentioned what a marvelous menu it was and that ours was the best. (They probably say that to each group so we all feel special but it was nice of them to say.) The craft table was also a great hit as there were little ones there quite late making their foam door knocker. I never knew so many things could get glued on one item! I was fortunate to get out and mingle more than al lot of our cooks so I got to receive the kudos for our deserving group."
