Lennox Scott and the John L. Scott Foundation Receive the Heart of the House Award.

Seattle, WA - In 2009, the John L. Scott Foundation became the first-ever recipient of the “Heart of the House” award from the Ronald McDonald House in Seattle, Washington. This award was presented during the 21st Annual Ronald McDonald House Charities Gala and Auction, its annual fundraising event.

The Heart of the House award was designed to recognize a corporation that has show immense heart in their hours volunteering. The John L. Scott Foundation was selected in recognition of the hundreds of volunteers who have prepared over 100 dinners since 2007 for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their children receive care at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center.

Volunteers from John L. Scott offices throughout Western Washington cook a meal at the Ronald McDonald House two nights a month. John L. Scott agents, staff, and family members often comment on what a rewarding experience the meal nights are.
