for Seattle Children’s Hospital
For Immediate Release: February 24, 2008
Seattle, WA - The John L. Scott Foundation helped raise over $931,000 at the KISS 106.1 FM’s seventh annual “One Big KISS for Children’s Hospital” Radiothon. All proceeds will benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital’s “Children’s Greatest Needs Fund,” which will allow the hospital to utilize funds where they are needed most. The two-day event was filled with emotional stories from current and past patients and families from start to finish.
“The community support of Children’s Hospital during the Radiothon was so touching. Our heartfelt thanks to Jackie and Bender for the fantastic, enthusiastic and tireless job they did to help us raise funds for patients in our area,” said Pamela Baughn, Children’s Hospital Guild Association Board of Trustees.
John L. Scott associates volunteered their time by answering phone calls and taking pledges from call-in donors. This marks the sixth consecutive year that John L. Scott has been a major sponsor of this annual fundraising event for Children’s Hospital.
