The John L. Scott Foundation will once again be helping to sponsor the Miracle Moment Phone Bank during this years Children's Miracle Network Radiothon. All money raised from this event will go directly to help children's healthcare at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

Children's Village Radiothon - October 14-15, 2010

John L. Scott of Yakima has been making a big difference in the lives of Children in Eastern Washington. Each October, Gap Radio and KIT 1280 am, has hosted the Children's' Miracle Network Radiothon Live from the Yakima Valley Mall. Not only does the John L. Scott Office give their $$ but they give their time as well answering phones throughout the 2 days of the event. The money raised goes to support the Pediatric and Neo-Natal Intensive Care unit at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital as well as program support at Children's Village, an out patients center for Children with special needs.

Ronald McDonald House Gala & Auction - October 16, 2010

Black & White Casino Night - November 6, 2010

The John L. Scott Foundation is once again sponsoring the Rogue Valley Medical Center's "Black & White" Casino Night. All proceeds from this event will benefit both the Three Rivers Community Hospital and Rogue Valley Medical Center. Over $85,000 was raised during last years event.

Santa Express - November 23 - December 23, 2010

Santa Express is a holiday retail store for all kids, many of whom make this shopping experience part of their holiday tradition. All proceeds from the store benefit the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, a safe shelter for kids who are at risk of neglect or abuse. The Santa Express operates during the holiday season between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Ronald McDonald House Meal Program- Tuesday Nights

Again in 2009 the John L. Scott Foundation, sales associates and staff from local John L. Scott offices have committed to volunteering for the RMHC Family Meal Program in Washington and Oregon. We will make dinners at least once a month for the entire year. The families that stay with the Houses experience a high level of stress due to their child’s illness or health status. Having a prepared meal waiting at the House when they return from the hospital makes a huge difference.
“We are thrilled at the commitment the John L. Scott Foundation has made to the House,” said Judy Adams, RMHC Manager of Volunteers Services. “Words can’t express our appreciation.”
