Paddle the Point-May 19th Point Defiance Park, WA The John L. Scott Foundation sponsored the 2007 Paddle the Point kayak race on May 19th, 2007 to benefit the Pheonix Housing Network. The event raised over $8,000. Phoenix Housing Network provides transitional housing (up to two years) for families with children under the age of 18. The families reside at our day center during the day and are provided sleeping space in our rotating host sites in the evening. These churches and schools open their doors for our families a week at a time. Volunteers provide dinner nightly at each host site.
