Battery Drive Kent, WA The Kent Kangley Branch initiated by the efforts of Kristiina Rauch recently held a battery drive to benefit the Children’s Therapy Center located in Kent. Children’s Therapy Center goes through (literally) hundreds of batteries every single month. They are used in the battery operated toys that the enrolled Special Needs Children use for their visual, speech and physical therapy activities. Keeping the toys in working order sounds simple when only batteries are required. However, the cost to continuously purchase these batteries on a monthly basis is overwhelming. Children’s Therapy Center treats as many as 400 children per month. The drive was a huge success and attached is a picture of Kristiina Rauch and Rich Waltenburg (both Agents of the John L Scott Kent Kangley Office) delivering the batteries.
