YES Foundation Seattle, WA The YES Foundation of White Center exists to address the social, economic, educational, physical and spiritual needs of youth in the White Center area. By developing programs and partnering with other organizations, we provide kids with positive role models and powerful life experiences to encourage their hope and vision for a future. Meghan Bedell of the JLS Bellevue Downtown office is the Treasurer of the Foundation. She says, "by serving on our board I am able to give back some of my time and energy to kids who are growing up in White Center and while White Center normally gets a bad rap, the potential is never small in our youth. I am always amazed at the outpouring of support our organization receives when we ask; companies and partners like John L. Scott Real Estate make our work easier and possible. In 2005 John L. Scott donated to a mission trip that took youth and board members, myself included to Nairobi Kenya, and this year while their giving is to our general fund, it is always a blessing to receive help from outside sources.
