Peter M. Putnam Foundation
Pacific Northwest
Erin Turnley of the John L. Scott Issaquah office has been contribuing to the the Peter M. Putnam Foundation for the past few years. The Peter M. Putnam Foundation was founded to assist children and communities by improving and providing access to youth sports programs in the Pacific Northwest. Many boys and girls find organized sports to be a safe and healthy alternative to risky behaviors during the after-school hours, which are the peak times for youth violence and victimization, as many children and youth are unsupervised. Sports activities are often the catalyst for kids to develop leadership and teamwork skills that will be necessary throughout the rest of their lives.
Unfortunately, many communities and families lack the resources necessary to provide these opportunities. We work with organizations and charities to increase opportunity, empower communities, and improve each child's life.
The foundation specifically financially supports team fees, equipment, field/court renovations and coaching programs. If you are interested in getting involved with this foundation please visit: http://www.putnamfoundation.com/ or contact: Erin Turley at ErinTurley@johnlscott.com |
